Favorite credits include the premiere of Maltby and Shire’s Waterfall in Bangkok, closing Barrow Street’s acclaimed London Transfer, Off-Broadway production of Sweeney Todd, Encores! The Golden Apple at New York City Center and the New York premiere of the John Kander and Greg Pierce musical, and Kid Victory at the Vineyard Theater. Another joy was originating the role of Princess Anna in workshops and subsequently launching Frozen Live at Disney’s Hyperion Theater at DCA.

Cast albums include the original Off-Broadway cast album of Kid Victory at Broadway Records, Frozen Live at Capitol Records (where they recorded the Beach Boys!), and Paris Through the Window, a new historical fiction musical by Osborne and Hurley about the life of WWI poet Alan Seeger.

Laura Darrell is also an award winning vocalist, studying with tony-winner Victoria Clark, Edward Sayegh, and Deric Rosenblatt. John Kander, the legendary composer of Cabaret and Chicago said:

"Laura is one of the most gifted singing-actors it's ever been my priviledge to work with..."  

She’s been a soloist with the Portland Symphony Orchestra three times as well as the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes. In NYC she’s performed at the 92Y three times as well as Merkin Hall and Sympony Space, among other distinguished venues.

Additional theatre credits include originating roles in staged readings, workshops and labs with prestigious companies including Asolo Rep, Classic Stage Company, The Barrow Group, New York Theatre Workshop, The York Theatre and Ensemble Studio Theatre.
